What You’ll Be Doing: Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, with a dotted line to the Global Marketing Director, you will lead our UK Marketing team to further success, securing the brand on the map as the energy management storage system brand of choice for end users and installers. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives that align with the company's overall business objectives. Key Accountabilities Include: Brand Management Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to elevate GivEnergy's brand positioning and reputation in the UK market. Oversee brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels. Networking, Media and PR Build on your network of contacts to increase connections to relevant parties such as government and political bodies, local councils, universities, colleges and businesses as well as related trade bodies in new and adjacent sector such as real estate and residential sectors. Lead your team with the design, planning and execution of trade show stands for various events throughout the year to optimise brand visibility. Monitor brand reputation and manage any potential crises effectively. Content Marketing Strong lead in developing local case studies that reflect stories from the UK Support the Content Marketing Manager to create high-quality content, such as blog posts, articles, case studies, and whitepapers, to attract and engage the UK target audience. Develop and execute a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of valuable content. Channel Marketing Drive brand awareness and USP with distributors and installers, drive adoption of the tools and resources to maximise sales and foster strong relationships. Develop and execute targeted marketing programs to attract, engage, and retain our channel partners, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to sell our energy storage solutions effectively. Lead the local execution of global tradeshow designs. Campaign Management Plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns with strong focus on offline engagement. Report creation to analyse performance of marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the UK sales team to develop targeted marketing initiatives that drive lead generation and sales. Competitive Market Research and Analysis Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats. Continuous awareness of competitor activity to ensure we stay market-leading and innovative. Analyse customer data to gain insights into customer behaviour and preferences. Team Management Lead and mentor our small team of UK marketing professionals, providing guidance, training and support, creating a positive and productive work environment. Collaboration with our international colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment with our global brand vision. Digital Marketing Support the Global Marketing Director to deploy digital marketing campaigns. Provide insights to website traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement and strong align digital marketing efforts. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the energy or technology industry. 2+ years of experience in managing and leading successful marketing teams. Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tools. Budget management, reporting on ROI, and measurement of campaigns and activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet rapidly changing deadlines. A strategic, creative and innovative mindset. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation. Expert in stakeholder management with the ability to build relationships from electrical installers to organisation heads.
